Jax is a neutered male.
Jax is suited to living with children over the age of 10 years old.
Live With Dogs:
Jax could live with a well mannered dog.
Live With Cats:
Jax is a very handsome little chap who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is very friendly and is full of fun and mischief! As he is still very young he will need an owner who will put in the time and training with him. Ideally it would be great if his new owners are experienced with Terriers.
Jax is very friendly to everyone who he meets and just wants to be friends with everyone. He does jump up when he greets people however with him still being young this can be helped with some training. Sometimes he may bark when someone knocks at the front door, but he does quickly settle. Jax is good with other dogs and usually just wants to play with them. He is still very young and does need some guidance in learning some manners. He could potentially live with a well behaved dog who will help show him how to behave. Unfortunately he isn’t suited to living with cats as he will chase them.
He is happy to be left for short periods at a time, however because he is so sociable he would love to have company during the day. When he is left alone he isn’t destructive at all and is quite happy to settle by himself in his crate. Jax travels well in the car, and he does have a crate in the boot that he is quite happy to be picked up to go in it. Jax does pull when walking on the lead and he is used to wearing a harness when out walking. He is ok off lead and his recall is usually ok. He may need some further training on this before he is let off lead in his new home.
Jax loves nothing more than chasing a tennis ball when out on his walks. He is full of energy and perhaps may enjoy doing some kind of activity such as agility or flyball to help channel his energy. He is very eager to please and already knows how to sit, lie down and give a paw. Jax enjoys playing in the garden and in his new home he would love to have his own secure garden where he can chill and sunbathe.
Jax will make such a lovely companion. He has lots of love to give the right home.
